Self-Regulating Heating Cable

Applicable to provide frost protection or process temperature maintenance for both metal and non-metal pipeline systems, tanks, and equipment. The heat output of DBR, ZBR, GBR, and CGBR self-regulating heating cables varies with changes in ambient temperature. When the heat loss increases in insulated pipelines, tanks, or equipment (ambient temperature decreases), the heat output of the heating cable will increase. Conversely, when heat loss decreases (ambient temperature rises or process media flows), the heating cable will reduce its heat output accordingly. The self-regulating characteristics allow the heating cables to be overlapped during installation without causing excessive temperatures or damaging the heating cables. The DBR, ZBR, GBR, and CGBR series of self-regulating heating cables are suitable for ordinary (unclassified) locations and Hazardous (classified) locations of Class 2, 3 (Zone 1, 2) according to ATEX standards.
